At Next Step, you’ll be a part of a fast-growing, Behavioral Science-driven marketing agency. You’ll assist with our clients’ website and support needs such as creating new web-pages, updating existing websites, building out new features and more.

You would need to:
- Support our clients via our Support Ticketing platform: responding to client requests, updating websites, working with our project managers to ensure deadlines are met
- Work closely with our designers and project managers and Client Success team to ensure client needs are met
- Typical projects include:
- Adding a new webpage to a client website
- Creating custom php templates
- Developing content to enhance or maintain strong online SEO performance
- Building out a new website function (e.g. installing a blog, adding a Careers section etc.)
- Installing and testing a WordPress plugin
- Thorough testing & Q/A for new pages and features
- Building out a newsletter using platforms like Mailchimp, Constant Contact etc.
You should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Experience in HTML, CSS, php and javascript
- Experience in WordPress CMS
- Familiarity with ACF plugin (advanced custom fields) and Custom Post type structure within WordPress
- Proven ability to multitask, proactively solve problems and cheerfully meet deadlines
- Familiarity with Bootstrap or similar grid framework
- Knowledge of Responsive development & styling
- Experience building out custom email newsletter templates
- Knowledge of Google Drive, Google Docs, Google Slides, Microsoft Powerpoint
- Excellent communication skills (listening, negotiating, writing and presenting)
- Proven ability to multitask, proactively solve problems and cheerfully meet deadlines
- An excitement around psychology and marketing (we realize Behavioral Science is an emerging field so we’ll invest in educating you on the fundamentals)
- Experience with Sketch, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, page layout, typography, UI design, and branding a big plus
